Thessaloniki, Greece – July 2, 2025
From June 30 to July 2, 2025, partners of the EU-funded CREDIT Vibes project gathered at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Thessaloniki for a key project meeting aimed at evaluating progress and aligning strategies for the final project phase.

The meeting opened on Monday, June 30, with an introduction from Project Coordinator Dr. Kristina Petrović (Maize Research Institute, MRI), who provided an overview of the project’s achievements and outlined priorities moving forward.
The agenda then focused on updates from all five Work Packages (WPs):
- WP1: Nutribreeding for Human and Animal Health, led by Dr. Nenad Delić (MRI), highlighted new research directions being established in the field of nutritional breeding.
- WP2: Transformation Strategy, presented online by Dr. Antoaneta G. Kuhar (Agricultural Institute of Slovenia, KIS), discussed approaches for institutional transformation and capacity building.
- WP3: Human Resources Development, presented by Chryssa Kopra (Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, AUTH), emphasized progress in staff exchanges, training, and the expansion of collaborative networks.
- WP4: Communication, Dissemination, and Exploitation, presented by Dr. Iva Savić (MRI), reviewed outreach activities and discussed strategies for boosting project visibility and stakeholder engagement.
- WP5: Project Management and Coordination, also presented by Dr. Kristina Petrović, provided insight into administrative progress and compliance with deliverables.


The day concluded with a comprehensive discussion addressing the status of staff exchanges, planning for the final project conference, and ensuring timely completion of all remaining deliverables.
The Thessaloniki meeting reaffirmed the consortium’s shared commitment to advancing research in sustainable agriculture and nutrition and successfully completing the CREDIT Vibes project objectives by the project’s conclusion.
