Jelena Vukadinović, a researcher involved in the EU-funded CREDIT Vibes project, participated in the prestigious international conference EuroFoodChem 2025, held in Bratislava, Slovakia. Her contribution included a poster presentation titled “Kernel Type Variability in Maize: Insights into Mineral Element Content”, which sparked interest and discussion among fellow experts in the field of food chemistry.

The conference brought together leading scientists, researchers, and professionals from across Europe to explore the latest advancements in waste reduction, innovation, safety, attractiveness and food production.
The research, conducted within the framework of the CREDIT Vibes project, explored the nutritional diversity of different maize kernel types, particularly focusing on their mineral element composition. This topic supports the broader goals of the project, including promoting sustainable food production, enhancing food safety, and improving the overall nutritional quality of agricultural products.
