The CREDIT Vibes project was presented to a broad and diverse audience during the 88th Thessaloniki International Fair (TIF), Greece’s premier exhibition event and a major platform for innovation, political dialogue, and sustainable development. The project was promoted by the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH), a key consortium partner, at the booth of the Interbalkan Environmental Center (i-BEC) throughout the duration of the fair.
Held every September for nearly a century, TIF is recognized as Greece’s leading exhibition and development institution. With the participation of political leaders, enterprises, investors, and citizens from across the globe, TIF serves as a strategic venue for presenting policies, launching initiatives, and showcasing advancements in science and technology.
As part of its dissemination and outreach activities, the AUTH team provided visitors with informational materials on CREDIT Vibes, highlighting the project’s mission to develop climate-resilient, economically sustainable, and nutritionally improved maize varieties. The presentation sparked lively interest among researchers, students, policymakers, and agri-food professionals.

AUTH’s participation at TIF, under the umbrella of i-BEC, ensured greater visibility for CREDIT Vibes within a high-impact forum, helping to bridge the gap between scientific research and real-world application. The engagement also reinforced the project’s commitment to transparent communication, stakeholder involvement, and societal relevance.
By leveraging the unique outreach potential of TIF, CREDIT Vibes continues to strengthen its role in addressing key agricultural and environmental challenges through innovation and collaboration.
