The 11th International Conference on Research in Management and Economics was successfully held from 27–29 March 2026 in Oxford, bringing together researchers, practitioners, and stakeholders from across the fields of management, economics, and business to exchange knowledge and discuss emerging trends shaping the future of these disciplines.
Originally launched as a small academic gathering, the conference has grown into a recognized international platform supporting the dissemination of high-quality research. Many contributions presented at previous editions have been published in leading journals indexed in major scientific databases such as SCOPUS and DOAJ, reflecting the conference’s strong academic impact and relevance.
IMECONF 2026 covered a broad range of topics, including strategic management, business innovation, economic development, financial markets, and related interdisciplinary themes. The event provided participants with valuable opportunities to present research results, receive expert feedback, and strengthen international collaboration networks.

Within the conference programme, representatives of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki — Danae Papadopoulou and Eva Maria Sarigiannidou — delivered a presentation entitled “The CREDIT Vibes Project: Envisioning a Sustainable Future through Twinning and Mentoring”. The presentation highlighted the project’s objectives, capacity-building activities, and its role in strengthening institutional cooperation through knowledge exchange and mentoring mechanisms.

Participation in IMECONF 2026 contributed to increasing the visibility of the CREDIT Vibes Project at the international level and supported the dissemination of its results among a diverse academic and professional audience. The conference also provided an excellent opportunity to establish new connections and explore future collaboration opportunities aligned with the project’s goals of promoting sustainable research development and innovation.
