CREDIT Vibes at AGRA – 62. International Fair of Agriculture and Food and SRIP HRANA meeting on sustainable food production

AGRA presents the latest technologies of production, breeding and processing with leading global brands in agricultural and forestry machinery and food processing equipment. It offers top-quality crops, food products, dishes and wines. There are also programs on packaging, modern agricultural construction, tools and equipment, air conditioning techniques and the use of renewable energy sources.

AGRA Fair, the 62nd traditional fresh edition of the event

This international agricultural and food fair was also held in Gornja Radgona, Slovenia, from August 24 to 29, 2024, and still maintains its reputation as the largest and most important agricultural and food fair in this part of Europe. With more than 1,720 exhibitors from 35 participating countries, it offered top technology, equipment and resources for agriculture, forestry, winemaking and food production.
The partner country of the fair will be Bulgaria.

Along with it, there are other distinguished domestic and foreign exhibitors, key Slovenian state, economic and professional organizations, led by the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Food, as well as the Ministry of Economy. They will present a look into the future, innovative agricultural and food technologies, excellent products, nutrition, wines and point out the possibilities of international cooperation.

Expert gatherings shed light on ecological, sustainable and regenerative agriculture, new digital tools in agriculture and forestry, smart and precise agriculture, risk management in light of climate change and other current topics.

Recognizable domestic and foreign exhibitors offered innovative digital solutions, the latest technology and leading global brands of agricultural and forestry machinery and equipment.

CREDIT Vibes – TWINNING GREEN-EDITING VIBES FOR FϴϴD

Kmetijski inštitut Slovenije (KIS – The Agricultural Institute of Slovenia), one of the consortium partners in CREDIT Vibes, promoted the project at the 62nd AGRA Fair and SRIP HRANA meeting on sustainable food production.

Furthermore, KIS met with CCIS-CAFE, Slovenian ministries, and Meiji University to discuss soy use in Europe and enhancing agri-food innovation.

KIS is the leading research institute in the field of agriculture in Slovenia. It comprehensively deals with the issues of modern agriculture and is expanding its activities into the fields of environmental protection and ecology. It employs 252 workers, of which 86 are researchers and 8 early-stage researchers.

The Agricultural Institute of Slovenia is a public non-profit research institute that performs fundamental, applied and development research and specialist tasks in agriculture, publishes the results of scientific research work as well as professional and supervision work, performs tasks based on authorisations and accreditations and checks the quality of agricultural products and products used in agriculture. The Institute also engages in the training of producers, education of young persons and consultation for various users in agriculture.
