The 12th International Conference on Environmental Management, Engineering, Planning and Economics (CEMEPE 2025), held jointly with the SECOTOX Conference, took place on the island of Mykonos, Greece, from May 25 to 29, 2025.
The event was organized by the Division of Hydraulics and Environmental Engineering, Department of Civil Engineering, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, together with the Society of Ecotoxicology and Environmental Safety (SECOTOX), the Sector of Industrial Management and Operations Research of the School of Mechanical Engineering at the National Technical University of Athens, the Department of Civil Engineering of the University of Thessaly, and the Department of Environmental Engineering of the Democritus University of Thrace.
Bringing together leading experts and researchers, the conference served as a platform for the exchange of ideas and knowledge on pressing issues in environmental science, engineering, and management.
Representing the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Danae Papadopoulou and Maria Giortsou participated in the event with a poster presentation, showcasing the project’s main objectives and key results. Their contribution highlighted the project’s innovative approaches and its potential impact in advancing sustainable solutions within the field.
