On July 3rd, 2024, a training session on HR Management was held in Thessaloniki, Greece, organized by Aristotle University. Nine MRI employees participated, aiming to enhance their HR knowledge and skills. The training covered four key areas: Recruitment and Staffing, Employee Motivation and Retention, Employee Development and Training, and a final summary and closure.

Block 1 of the HR Management training, Recruitment and Staffing, covered key aspects of talent acquisition, including best practices for sourcing candidates through job boards, social media, and agencies. Participants learned how to craft clear job descriptions, apply effective interviewing and selection techniques, and implement diversity and inclusion strategies to foster an inclusive hiring process.
Block 2 of the HR Management training, Employee Development and Training, focused on identifying skill gaps and designing effective learning programs. Participants explored strategies for performance management, including setting expectations, conducting reviews, and providing feedback. The session also emphasized career development, helping employees grow within the organization through targeted training and professional opportunities.
Block 3 of the HR Management training, Employee Motivation and Retention, focused on strategies to engage and retain top talent. Participants learned about intrinsic and extrinsic motivation, employee recognition programs, and effective retention strategies to reduce turnover. The session also covered work-life balance initiatives, such as flexible work arrangements, to enhance employee satisfaction and well-being.

The training incorporated interactive discussions, case study analysis, and problem-solving exercises. A group-based approach was used, emphasizing teamwork in workshops and expert-led discussions to enhance learning and practical application.
